COMMUNITY SERVICE / VOLUNTEERISM

Debra is a 1981 graduate of Covert High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Class Secretary, Student Senate Secretary and the Captain of the Cheerleading Team. After graduation she attended Eastern Michigan University where she was a member of the Cheer Team.

Her love and dedication for her Alma Mater has inspired her to plan events to bring alunmi back to Covert. The first event she planned for CHS was Alunmi Night at a basketball game. She also plans the Alumni Tailgate Party which has be come an annual event before every Homecoming Football game.

Debra is also active in her community where she is on the Board of Directors for the Art's Council. A fellow board member describes her as "Dedicated, and exhibits a high level of expertise". Her classmates describes her as "The glue that holds the Class of 1981 together".

She recently started her own event planning business, Glorious Gatherings, which special izes in school, community, and corporate event planning.

Debra is the daughter of Sam and Norma Webb. She currently lives in Loves Park, Illinois with her husband Kenneth, former Covert basketball coach.
