Following graduation as valedictorian of her high school class, Endia attended Ferris State University where she met her husband to be, Charles Weeldey. Following their move to Grand Rapids, she continued her studies in accounting at Grand Rapids Junior College and Davenport College.

Since April 1996, Endia has held the position of Retail Bank Manager/Second Vice President at National Bank of Detroit (NB])). She is distinguished by being the first person of color to attain this position at National Bank of Detroit in Southwestern Michigan. Her numerous duties and responsibilities include the supervision twelve retail branch sites of the NBD system throughout the city of Grand Rapids. She develops banking services and sales, implements operating budgets, recruits and train employees, and ensures the operational and audit policies.

Endia exhibits a high level of expertise and performance in her profession, which has earned her the Courageous Voice Award of 1995, National Association of Bank Women Member of the Year 1987-88, Business Award for Achievement in Banking 1977, and American Business Women's Association LaGrande Vitesse Chapter, Woman of the Year 1977. She has served as a member of the Negro Business and Professional Women's Church

Endia presently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has one daughter, Andrea, and one grandson.
