Robert graduated from Western Michigan University with BS in Biology with minors in Sociology and Psychology. He joined the Navy in 1967 and acquired additional medical training as a Hospital Corpsman. Robert attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College for more classwork in preparation to enter an MBA graduate program at Western Michigan University.

Robert's interest in the medical field led to a 30-year career at Pharmacia and Upjohn (PNU). He started as an Animal Technician in the Research Division while attending school and has held positions in Quality Control, Human Fertility, Psychopharmacology, and Urology. His current position is in Clinical Research, as a Senior Clinical Specialist, where he monitors the clinical research process in the study of urological medications. His work in biology has provided opportunities for travel to countries in North and South America and Hawaii.

Robert attributes a good learning environment and spiritual guidance provided by the faculty, staff and parents at Covert High School to his success as a parent and biologist. As a researcher in the field of Biology, Robert has received numerous Certificates of Achievement.

Robert Terrentine presently lives in Kalamazoo with his wife Bonnie and their children Melita, Timothy, Alecia, and Travis. Robert's enjoyment of his family, church, and community has motivated him to participate and volunteer for activities associated with each for which he has been publicly recognized.
